AUSTRALIA - DUTY TAXES NOT PAID
We have removed the UK VAT from the AUD$ prices and also the AUD£ duty if over the Australian threshold of $1000. When your order arrives, you will pay DHL any duty and taxes owed. The majority of our light weight silk resort wear fit is loose and floaty bloused styles to keep you cool in hot sunshine.
Portofino is such a pretty silk beach dress, in a larger plus size in floaty silk crepe fabric, in a pink animal print design by Lindsey Brown merging sketches of orchid flowers and a hand painted animal print pink design. Created to be worn in three ways, with the tassels at the front or back, you can also wear this gently off the shoulder, as the neckline has a cord around the neckline. The dress also has a matching silk belt in the same printed fabric to cinch in your waistline. You can also wear the belt as a bow tied in your hair, or style in a bow onto a beach tote bag.
The Portofino plus size silk beach dress is a beautiful fresh style of plus size beach dress in our luxury beach wear collection. The length is knee length, and the skirt has a tiered hemline ruffle that gently kicks out to create a flattering lower leg. The ruffle hemline mirrors the pretty ruffle detail on the sleeves with a ruffle cuff detail. Pink silk is semi sheer, if you are wearing our silk plus size beach dress as an outerwear, we suggest wearing with skin tone underwear for a smoother line. The dress also has a peach half-slip for a smoother line. Long sleeves allow you to wear these pretty pink silk beach dresses all year round.
We styled this pretty plus size beach dress over swimwear on our photoshoot and you can see that the dress is not see through, the animal print placement draws the eye away from the body. Pink is a fabulous colour that suits many skin tones as the pale baby pink is mixed with stronger strawberry pink and fuchsia pink accents. Both metallic tones of silver or gold would work with this pretty pink beach dress. Daytime style with metallic gladiator sandals or neutral wedges. Over sized sunglasses would complete the look. Both flattering and floaty, the print and dress design is very shapely for larger sizes.
The size of our plus size dresses, are one sized as the silk is fine and floaty to wear. One size 2XL fits a UK18 to UK 20, and a USA14 to a USA16. If you are unsure which size to take and you are in between beach dress sizes, then choose the larger size you would normally wear. Lindsey Brown resort wear sizing are designed to be loose and floaty, however the Portofino dress is more fitted and true to size. The print and dress design are an original design by Lindsey Brown silk resort wear.
