Turquoise blue floaty silk maxi dresses called Santorini by Lindsey Brown resort wear are so stunning. The new turquoise and blue colourway is a warm tone. The white base colour is hand dip dyed over several days to create our iconic graduated dip dyed hemline. Eight metres of hand dyed silk chiffon are sewn to create this beautiful sleeveless silk maxi. The graduating colour of turquoise blue into white is a hand tie dye affect called ombre. The hand tie dye on silk is created after we make and sew a finished white dress. The top of the dress is white, lined with white base, then dipped into bright turquoise dye. Left over a few days the dye is drawn upwards and gradually the blue colour merges into the white. When washed and dry we then tie dye indigo blue and turquoise over the top in a vertical pattern.
Santorini is a designer silk maxi dress of dreams. This striking turquoise silk evening summer maxi dress will be your go to maxi dress for every holiday. This turquoise silk maxi dress is perfect for all heights as the neckline is adjustable with silk ties with pretty indigo blue and turquoise tassels at the end. The hemline has not been decorated so this can be altered further if required. The shape of our beautiful Santorini silk maxi dresses has a shaped upper dress body lined with white microfibre and from the upper waist the shape is loose and flared. Three tiers of silk create the flowing skirt of the Santorini dress, as this ensures the fullness from each skirt tier, rather than fullness from the waist.
Sleeveless, with silk shoulder straps that can be adjusted, allowing many heights to wear this floaty silk maxi dress. The back of the neck is fixed, and the front ties not only move, allowing many heights to wear this dress, the neckline can also be adjusted for full or partial coverage over the neckline and cleavage. Two tassels decorate each shoulder strap in indigo blue and turquoise. You can also turn the dress back to front, one of the many signature features of a Lindsey Brown dress to wear the tassels at the back. If you are pear shaped this would be a wonderful dress for you as the dress skims the waits and hips.
