Our Provence dress by Lindsey Brown resort wear is a timeless, ultra soft white cotton beach dress designed for effortless elegance in warm climates. Crafted from breathable, lightly crinkled cotton, it drapes beautifully without clinging, creating a cool, floaty silhouette perfect for sunshine escapes. Softly bloused sleeves with ruched shoulders and elasticated cuffs offer gentle sun coverage while maintaining an airy, relaxed feel.

The flattering knee-length, tiered A-line shape suits every figure, enhanced by a delicate ruffled V-neckline for a refined feminine touch. Provence includes a matching cotton belt, allowing you to switch from a loose, smock-style fit to a defined, waist-cinched silhouette—ideal from breakfast to beach to sunset cocktails. For the best fit, choose your smaller size you would wear on your top half, as the dress is loose. If in doubt size down.

Loose and floaty, you can size down if you are in between sizes as the shape is oversized and a generous fit. The length of the Provence cotton dress is 90cm 36 inch.

80% Cotton 20% Viscose

We recommend hand washing in lukewarm water using a non biological powder or liquid for any cottons to preserve the detail and quality of our cotton clothes.
Wash in lukewarm water. Rinse in cold water. Colour will only run if you have used hot water over 40* and if you have used a biological detergent which may contain a stain removing or bleaching agent.

Remove excess water and then hang dry immediately, always reshape whilst damp. Test any stain removers on the inside of coloured fabrics first. We suggest gentle baby wipes to gently remove stains, always test first. If you are washing your items on holiday, please rinse and drip dry in the shower and dry in the shade as direct sunlight may reduce the colour on the wet garment.

Do not machine wash. Do not spin in a machine to remove excess water as this will make the cotton fabric compact and appear to shrink. Excess heat in a tumble dryer and washing machine may shrink your garment.

This cotton has a slight crinkle which may appear to shrink if you had dried in an airing cupboard or in direct heat. for best results, press or iron when slightly damp using a steam iron and your kaftan will spring back to length. Avoid ironing on necklines or areas with crystals or sequins.

As the US import system keeps changing, we have removed the paid option of USA Import Duty and Taxes. This means the USD$ prices have reduced as they know exclude USA import duty and taxes.  You , the shopper will pay the Import Duty and tax on delivery to DHL directly.  This is beneficial to you as a shopper, in case you have to return an item for a refund, you can reclaim any import duty and tax from the American government. We have removed the UK VAT from the AUD$ prices and also the AUD£ duty if over the Australian threshold of $1000. When your order arrives, you will pay DHL any duty and taxes owed.
